Leggy Latex

working on my Ed gein crime scene photos.
ive started work on a smaller canvas to freely experiment with unusual mediums to maybe use on the larger painting.

landscape painting -after i reused an old painting stretcher frame and stretching the canvas myself, i primed with Gesso and Licorice. I melted the licorice to a gloopy consistency with water, and coated canvas and left to try. Latex was used to create a textured skin like quality for the body.

Portrait painting – used a coloured latex- latex with acrylic brushed over the moulding paste, and allowed the paint to drip. My plan had been to use the licorice on the bigger painting, but after worries of long-term deterioration of using food i decided against it.

listening to – Misfits
Re-Reading – Heaven knows im miserable now
Eating – Licorice
